How to create curves with fabric

This week I have been making some curtain tie backs it got me thinking about curves. When making something with a curved edge for example a collar or a facing for the neckline on a dress the same applies to get a really good finish you need to;

Make small snips up to the stitching line v's for the curves going outward and snips for the inside curves.

If you have two or more layers of fabric and interfacing you will need to trim the fabric back in layers so that you reduce the bulk of the fabric.

When you turn you work inside out you will need to roll your seam, tack the edge and press well to get a really sharp edge.
